Our full list of Chick breeds and Arrival dates for 2025
We have our chick orders for the year placed! The dates listed are ESTIMATED ARRIVAL DATES. The hatcheries are counting their chickens before they hatch, so there are NO guarantees we will get the reserved chicks. They will be in the day of or potentially 2-3 days AFTER the date listed. No holds, no pre-sales and a two chick minimum to purchase. All sales will be first come, first served. When you get to the store, please come in and let us know you are interested in the chicks. We will take one family/group out at a time. NO REFUNDS ON CHICKS. If you have any questions on their care, please ask! We’re happy to help!
Chick prices did go up this year, and the hatcheries restructured how they do their price breaks, which means the roosters are now more expensive than the pullets. They don’t give a price break unless you order 25 by sex. So, most chicks (including roosters) will now be one price. We will also have some “premium” breeds, which will be more expensive. “Regular” chicks will be $7.25, “Premium” chicks will be $14.00 and “Bantams” will be $8.50.
If you would like to purchase a large number of chicks, please come in and talk to us. We may be able to add to an existing order!
